Polson Baseball stifles Butte 5-1

Butte was held to one hit by the pitching of Espn Fisher as Polson picked up a 5-1 victory over their foe on Wednesday, April 24. Fisher also helped his own cause with two hits in the process.
Save for one run in the top of the second, Butte was held off the scoreboard as Fisher pitched five innings and struck out four. Cole Wadsworth pitched the final two innings, striking out four and giving up zero hits.
Polson scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth off a two-run double by Aiden Gfroerer. The Pirates would add two more runs in the fifth and an insurance run in the sixth.
