Bulldogs hoops

The St. Ignatius Bulldogs season came to an end Tuesday night with a loss to Eureka, 46-34, in a District 8-B play-in game. Saturday, the Bulldogs stormed from behind to knock off undefeated Thompson Falls for the District 8-B home win. Trailing by five points heading into the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs began a decisive 22-11 run in their final regular-season game.

William George 'Bill' Barba

POLSON — William George Barba, 80, of Polson died of natural causes on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital. Bill was born at Pittsburgh, Pa. on Feb. 11, 1927, to William and Amelia Barba.
