Lake County District Court, Judge McNeil presiding

*The following district court proceedings took place May 26.

-State of Montana vs. Justin Teigen; 29. The matter before the Court is hearing on merits. Attorney Ben Anciaux indicates the Defendant will be admitting some of the allegations. The Court finds the admissions are sufficient and the Defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. The parties are prepared for sentencing. The Court commits the Defendant to the DOC for eight years with all suspended on Count I and commits the Defendant to the DOC for eight years with all suspended on Count V. The sentence imposed in Count V is to run concurrent to the sentence imposed in Count I. The sentence imposed shall run consecutive to the sentence imposed in DC-05-172.

-State of Montana vs. Lester O’Bleness; 34. The matter before the Court is hearing on merits. Attorney Bob Long indicates the Defendant will be admitting some of the allegations. The Court finds the admissions are sufficient and the Defendant’s suspended sentence is revoked. The parties are prepared for sentencing. The Court commits the Defendant to the DOC for five years, no part of which is suspended on Count I and commits the Defendant to the DOC for five years, no part of which is suspended on Count II. The sentence imposed in Count II is to run concurrent to the sentence imposed in Count I. The Court recommends the Defendant be considered for placement at Boot Camps provided it meets with the approval of the DOC. Defendant is to receive credit for time while in custody. All original conditions are re-imposed.

-State of Montana vs. Lorena Couture; 40. The matter before the Court is change of plea. Defendant admits committing the amended offense of criminal endangerment, a felony. The Court makes its findings, accepts the plea and finds the Defendant guilty of the charge. PSI ordered. Sentencing is set for June 30 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Desiree Weed; 30. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of burglary, a felony, Count I; theft, a misdemeanor, Count II; burglary, a felony, Count III; and theft, a misdemeanor, Count IV. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. Defendant remains at liberty. Omnibus hearing is set for June 30 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Robert Conley; 60. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol - fourth or subsequent offense, a felony, Count I, and driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, a misdemeanor, Count II. The plea is entered and the case will be set for trial. Defendant remains at liberty. Omnibus hearing is set for June 30 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Ryan Anthony Charlo; 25. The matter before the Court is sentencing. The Court defers imposition of sentence for three years. As conditions, Defendant is ordered to serve 90 days in the LCJ and is to receive credit for 45 days already served. The remaining 45 days may be satisfied by successfully completing the MAP program through DOVES and successfully completing a chemical dependence evaluation. If not the 45 days shall be served within seven months of today’s date.

-State of Montana vs. Zach Langston; 19. The matter before the Court is sentencing. For the offense of negligent vehicular assault, a felony, the Court defers imposition of sentence for three years. As conditions, Defendant is ordered to pay all fees and surcharges and is to serve 14 days in the LCJ within the next six months from today’s date with credit for time served.

-State of Montana vs. Justin M. Seely; 42. The matter before the Court is arraignment. Ready to enter plea, Defendant pleads not guilty to all charges. The plea is entered. The Defendant remains in custody. The Court sets this matter for omnibus hearing on June 17 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Mariano Silva; 34. The matter before the Court is omnibus hearing. Both parties ready to proceed to omnibus hearing. Omnibus hearing conducted. Status conference set for July 8 at 9 a.m. with a jury trial date of July 26 at 9 a.m.

-State of Montana vs. Amber Evans; 20. The matter before the Court is adjudicatory hearing. Attorney Robert Long states that the Defendant is currently in the Carol Graham Home and doing great. Prosecutor Cory Allen offers to the Court a motion to dismiss without prejudice. Request granted by the Court and states that the petition is dismissed without prejudice.

*The following justice court proceedings took place May 21-27.

-Reum, Sheldon M.; 29. Operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent BAC or greater - first offense. Fined $400 and 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

-Pulse, Jeffrey J.; 39. Fail to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - second offense. Fined $350 and 10 days in jail with eight days suspended. Provide proof of valid insurance by June 20 and proof of six months continuous insurance and fine reduced by $100 and jail waived.

-Morgan, Fred J.; 33. Partner or family member assault - first offense. Fined $600 and 365 days in jail with 365 suspended. Credit for time served.

-Schlensker, Shawn; 40. Operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent BAC or greater - first offense. Fine $400.

-Winkler, Bridget L.; 38. Operating without liability insurance in effect - second offense. Fined $350 and 180 days in jail with 178 suspended. Provide proof of six months continuous insurance on Oct. 11 and fine reduced by $100 and jail waived.

-Snyder, Merlyn J.; 55. Criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. Fined $100.

-Cross, Cheryle C.; 56. Careless driving. Fined $50.
