Ronan

Are you tired of all the Christmas ads yet? I am so glad to get Thanksgiving over with so I don’t have to hear anymore ads for Black Friday. I hope that your Thanksgiving went well, and that you didn’t eat too much.

Don’t forget that our November birthday dinner was moved to Friday, Dec. 2 at noon. The monthly board meeting will be on Monday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m.

There were 11 people at the card party on the 21st. Lunch was provided by Elda Joy and Marie Cowen. Marlys Holedt had high score, Carrie Faulkner had low score, Grace Ingraham had the most pinochles and Martha Allen won the door prize.

We have the veterans rep here on Thursday (8th) from 1 until 3 in the afternoon. That evening is our monthly evening meal at 5 p.m. We will be serving pork roast this month.

The card party will be here at 1:30 in the afternoon on Monday, Dec. 12, and again on Monday, Dec. 26. Dixon does not have the card parties during the winter months, so Ronan hosts them here.

The foot clinic will be here from 10:30 until noon on Wednesday, Dec. 21. You need to have your name on the list, so please call me at 676-2367 and I will sign you up. There are only 10 slots available.

Our Christmas dinner will also be on the 21st, at noon. We will be serving a great ham dinner, so come in and join us.

We will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, to give our staff a little break over the holidays. The December birthday dinner will be on the last Friday (30th) of the month.

Our menu for the next two weeks is: Friday, Dec. 2 is the November birthday dinner, Monday, Dec. 5 is cheeseburger macaroni, Wednesday, Dec. 7 is meat loaf, Thursday, Dec. 8 is pork roast at 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9 is pork noodle casserole, Monday, Dec. 12 is baked spaghetti and Wednesday, Dec. 14 is chicken.

Have a great week and enjoy the unseasonably nice weather (if it’s not over with yet).
