Heather Estella Humphrey

Heather Estella Humphrey passed away in her home in San Francisco, Calif. A memorial service for Heather will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Liberty, Mo.

Heather was born in Freemont, Calif., March 5, 1970. She grew up in Yankton, S.D., graduating from Yankton High School. She enjoyed experiencing life and has lived on both the East Coast and West Coast. Heather completed her education obtaining a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kan. She lived in Topeka, Chicago and Minneapolis while pursuing a career with Target. She recently returned to her favorite city, San Francisco, accepting a position with Book Renters in San Mateo. Heather enjoyed traveling and most of all reading. She volunteered many hours at elementary schools helping others learn to read.

Heather is survived by her father and stepmother, David and Juli Humphrey of Polson, Mont.; mother and stepfather, Carol and Gary Forister, Kansas City, Mo. and brother Brett Humphrey, Seattle Wash.
