Dora Jean “Jeannie” Gies-Swanson was fatally killed by a hit-and-run driver in Orlando, Fla., on Sunday, April 21. She made her home in Mead, Wash. A celebration of life Mass will take place at 11 a.m., June 17, at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church. A committal of Jeannie’s ashes will take place at the Catholic Cemetery in St. Ignatius under the direction of Foster Funeral Home & Crematory in St. Ignatius.
