Area hoopsters make All Conference, All League teams

Postseason accolades have been released for basketball this year, and the list includes many local faces, regardless of the classification.

NORTHWEST A BOYS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Polson has three players named to the Northwest A All-Conference team, while Ronan had two. Polson’s Jarrett Wilson was named to the All-State Team for the third time while also getting All-Conference nods. Wilson scored a career-high 41 points this season and was in double digits in every regular season contest this year with a career-point mark of over a thousand points.

Polson’s Espn Fisher and Trent Wilson were also given honorable mention All-Conference mentions.

Ronan’s Marlo Tonasket was named to the All-Conference Team for the second straight year, getting second-team honors after scoring over 200 points for the second straight season. Teammate Kolby Finley was also named to the team as an honorable mention.

NORTHWEST A GIRLS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Polson and Ronan each had three players on the All-Conference team this year.

Polson’s Mila Hawk was named to the All-State Team for the second straight year, earning honors in Class C last year. Hawk had nine double-digit scoring games this year and scored a career-high 27 points in one game.

Teammate Julia Barnard was named to the second team after scoring 176 points this season, including a career-high 24 points in one contest. Polson’s Grace Simonich received honorable mention accolades for the second straight year after scoring over 200 points this year and hauling in over 200 rebounds.

Ronan’s Olivia Heiner made the second team for the second straight year, scoring 487 points this year, hauling in 165 rebounds, and notching 138 steals. Her teammate, Leina Ulutoa, was on the second team after scoring 203 points and collecting 151 rebounds. Margaret Cordova notched honorable mention accolades for notching 130 points, 126 rebounds, 115 assists, and 100 steals.

DISTRICT 7B BOYS ALL-LEAGUE

Mission’s Zoran LaFrombois was named to the All-State team for the third time and to the All-League team for the fourth time. This season he overtook Mission’s scoring record from Gus McDonald, who played from 2002-06. LaFrombois had a cumulative career total of points over 1,970, scored a career-high 47 this year, and scored over 40 points in four games this season and over 30 points in another 10.

Mission teammate Carmine Adams was named to the second team after scoring over 100 points this year.

DISTRICT 7B GIRLS ALL LEAGUE

Three Mission players were named to the All-League team after a strong outing that saw them battle with the state’s best squads all year.

Mission’s Kooper Page was a repeat All-state athlete and earned All-League honors for the third time. In her career, she has hit 172 three-points and scored over 1,000 points.

Fellow Lady Bulldog Kason Page was named to the second-team All-League squad after 13 double-digit scoring efforts this year and has had over 500 points in her career.

Mission’s Cora Matt was also named to the second team after a dozen double-digit scoring performances.

DISTRICT 6B BOYS ALL-LEAGUE

Arlee’s Ben Old Person-Harlow was named to the All-State and All-League team after scoring over 300 points this year for the Warriors. Teammate Dallas Swab earned second-team honors after scoring over 100 points this season.

DISTRICT 14C GIRLS ALL-LEAGUE

Charlo’s Hayleigh Smith earned all-league honors for the second straight season. Smith was named to the first team after scoring over 200 points this year and having two triple-doubles during the course of her career. She has surpassed 500 points in scoring.

Teammate Shaedon Kain was also named to the first team, scoring over 200 points this year and two dozen three-pointers.

Sidney Bauer was named to the second team for the Lady Vikings after she scored over 100 points this year and has seven double-figure outings in her career.

Two Eagle’s Sarah Gardipe was named to the second team after scoring over 200 points this year.

DISTRICT 14C BOYS ALL-LEAGUE

Charlo had four different players named All-League, while Two Eagle had two players.

The Vikings’ Stetson Reum was named to the All-State and All-League team after 17 double-figure outings this year and a cumulative career scoring total of 692 points. He was joined by teammate Keaton Piedalue who had 20 double-digit scoring efforts this year. He also has scored over a thousand points in his career.

Tucker Love made the second team for the Vikings after scoring over 200 points this year, and he was joined by Wes Anderson, who also scored over 200 points this year and hauled in 105 rebounds.

Two Eagle’s Thomas Spotted Eagle was named to the All-State team after scoring over 300 points this season, while teammate Cai Burke earned second-team All-League honors after scoring over 200 points this year.
