Ronan Tennis falls to Whitefish, Columbia Falls

Whitefish picked up a dual victory over Ronan in Northwest A Tennis action on Friday, April 5. On the boys’ side, the Bulldogs snagged a 6-1 victory despite Beau Decker winning the No. 1 singles matchup for the Chiefs by a score of 6-1, 6-2.

On the girls’ side, Ronan’s singles players Sara McConnell and Amy Snyder won one game apiece, while in the No. 3 doubles matchup Yanella Tillman and L. Brown fought well but fell to Whitefish’s Lizzy Holien and Ainsley Grubb 6-2, 6-1.

Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, April 2, Ronan boys and girls fell to Columbia Falls. Beau Decker won the No. 1 boys single matchup over Jax Ramage 6-1, 6-2. In No. 2 singles action, Toby Cantlon played tough but fell 7-6 (9-7), 6-1.
