Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office made four unrelated arrests during an 18 1/2-hour period from Monday morning, June 3 to 1 a.m. Tuessday, June 4, all involving drugs:
• 28-year-old, Seth Williams, of Polson, was arrested at 6:25 a.m. on Monday, June 3, after a deputy found his vehicle parked in the middle of Baptiste Road, near Ronan, with Williams sleeping behind the wheel. Williams was arrested for Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs with Intent to Distribute, and Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a search of his vehicle where suspected methamphetamine and heroin were located.
• 25-year-old, Jordan Pluff, of Polson, was arrested at around 7:30 a.m. on Monday, June 3, following a traffic stop where a sheriff’s K-9 detected drugs in his vehicle. A subsequent search was conducted and user amounts of suspected heroin and methamphetamine were located. Pluff also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for absconding from probation. Pluff was booked into the Lake County Jail.
• With the assistance of the U.S. Marshalls and Tribal Police, 38-year-old Nigel Ernst, of Charlo, was arrested on Monday, June 3, on a federal warrant. Subsequent to his arrest, 19.5 grams of suspected heroin were located on his person. Ernst was charged with Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs with Intent to distribute.
• At 1 a.m. on June 4, a deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle and identified the driver as 50-year-old David Martinez of Missoula, a probation absconder with multiple outstanding arrest warrants. A subsequent search of the vehicle located suspected methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Martinez was arrested on his outstanding warrants and charged with Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
