The Women4Wellness Health Fair, held May 23 this year at the SKC Joe McDonald Health & Fitness Center, is one of the best-attended health-related events attended each year. At right are Eleanor Vizcarra, right, and Lisa Williamson, left. Eleanor Vizcarra, pictured on the right in the black, orange and whhite Women4Wellness shirt with Lisa Williamson, is the medical coordinator, Williamson calls her the volunteer “Queen Bee.” SAFE Harbor was chosen as the non-profit recipient of the program’s Community Challenge Baskets (among these photos). Everyone is asked to gather items to fill the baskets so they can benefit SAFE Harbor’s clients. You will hear more about the significance of this health fair program in an upcoming issue of the Lake County Leader.
