Ronan arch project begins to take shape on Main Street

Print Article

ON THURSDAY, March 14 work trucks and cranes lined Main Street in Ronan to begin the removal of the Ronan Arch. The construction workers braved the cold weather to finish the complete removal of the arch. The removal had been postponed due to poor winter weather conditions. The removal crew included: WBC (crane), Gary Cote (crane), Jennison Tree Service (up to five bucket trucks), Access MT (bucket trucks), City of Ronan (street closure), and Jason Delaney (engineer). The demolition took roughly four hours to complete. This project is expected to be finished in June. (Lexie Gauthier/Lake County Leader)
