RONAN COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DINNER

A community Thanksgiving dinner will take place on Nov. 24 at the Ronan Community Center. Brandy Chisholm is heading up that event and is still in need of donations of pies and rolls. She also could use some volunteers to server and to cook the turkeys. Please contact her at 250-8808 for more questions or with help. They served over 250 people in 2015.

ST. IGNATIUS THANKSGIVING DINNER

A community Thanksgiving dinner be served from noon to 2 p.m. on Nov. 24 at the St. Ignatius Middle School Commons.

POLSON COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DINNER

A community Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 24 at the Polson Senior Center.

FREE NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

The fourth Thursday” Free Night at the Museum” will take place at on Nov. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Miracle of America Museum, Polson. The theme will be a “Thankful for Leftovers” potluck with a short program to follow. For questions call 406-883-6804 or 270-7895.

MIDWEEK SERVICES TO BEGIN

Midweek Advent services at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will start Wednesday, Nov. 30 and continue each Wednesday through Wednesday, Dec. 21. Soup supper will start at 5:30 p.m. with the service starting at 6:30 p.m. The theme is “The Ultimate Advent.”

FVCC HOSTING FREE CONCERT

Orchestra and choir concert students at Flathead Valley Community College will perform a free concert on Wednesday, Nov. 30 beginning at 7 p.m. in the large community room inside the Arts and Technology Building on campus. The concert will feature performances by the FVCC Orchestra and the FVCC Choral Ensemble. Students Madison Wambeke, Keith Moore, Dakota Long, Joey Brusati, Jhalen Salazar, Sofiya Karpina will perform concertos for four violins, and pianist Eunhwa Park will perform a piece by Beethoven. LOCAL SCIENTIST TO SPEAK ABOUT “LIVING ON MARS”

“A Year on Mars” by Carmel Johnston, will be Mission Mountain Audubon’s next program on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Polson Library Meeting Room. Everyone is welcome.

Carmel Johnston, of Whitefish, will discuss her experience heading a NASA-funded research project constructed a habitat dome high on a Hawaiian volcano similar to the harsh conditions and rocky terrain that future astronauts will encounter on the red planet.

RONAN HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF ‘58, ‘59, ‘60 REUNION

Join members of these and all classes on the first Thursday of each month at the Pizza Cafe from 8:30 - 10 a.m. Share stories about the good old days and visit about what’s new.
