The Northwest Montana United Way is helping victims through a COVID-19 relief fund, but it needs help from the community, too.

The Northwest Montana United Way has established a COVID-19 Relief Fund at Glacier Bank.

It will accept financial donations to assist with unmet needs and provide emergency help to individuals in Flathead, Glacier, Lake, Lincoln, and Sanders counties. Donations are tax deductible.

The NW Montana United Way’s COVID-19 Relief Fund will focus on the following unmet needs:

• Food & Food supplies

• Prescription & medical supplies

• Mortgage or rent payments

• Utility payments

• Other items determined eligible by the Unmet Needs Committee

The Northwest Montana United Way will establish an Unmet Needs Committee to assist with application review and distribution of funds.

The committee will determine the specific requirements and the process for providing payments from the fund.

Northwest Montana United Way Executive Director Roxanna Parker chairs the committee.

Donations are accepted by mailing a check to: Northwest Montana United Way, P.O. Box 7217, Kalispell, Montana, 59904 (COVID-19 in memo line), or at www.unitedwaycares.org/give - select Basic Needs-select your gift amount and add COVID-19 in the Memo line.
