Pirates dump Wildkats; Ronan drops Whitefish

A sterling shooting performance helped lift the Polson Pirates to a 70-53 win over Columbia Falls last week.

The Pirates also did a good job forcing turnovers and those were converted into several points for the winners. Polson led 37-20 at halftime.

Ryker Wenderoth led with 12 points and Colton Graham went over the 400-point plateau for varsity career scoring.

Against Hamilton, a fourth-quarter rally wasn’t quite enough to offset a 13-point deficit.

Three players reached double digits in scoring with Trevor Lake tallying 11 while Graham and Gunner Grisak each scored 10. Wenderoth accrued dual century club credentials for both season scoring as well as varsity career rebounding.
