NOTICE OF SALE Department of Natural Resources & Conservation Timber Sale The Lake Mary Ronan Timber Sale is located within Sections 16 and 26, T25N-R22W, on the State's Kalispell Unit. Approximately 31,455 tons, consisting of mixed conifer sawlogs, are offered for sale. Sealed bids will be opened at the Department of Natural Resources & Conservation, 2705 Spurgin Road, Missoula, Montana on July 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed and will be accepted any time prior to the bid opening. DNRC recommends that bidders contact the Trust Land Management Division (406-542-4300) prior to the bid opening to ensure that your bid has been received. Bids must be accompanied by a deposit of $32,304.00, representing 5% of the minimum bid value of the sale in cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft to be applied to the first sale invoice for the successful bidder. Bid bonds will be accepted and, for the successful bidder, will be closed upon execution of the Timber Sale Contract and Timber Sale Bond. The sale will be awarded to the highest responsible bidder. AUDIT PUBLICATION STATEMENT An audit of the Lake County has been conducted by Denning, Downey & Associates, CPA's, P.C. The audit covered the fiscal year ended June 30, 2019. Section 2-7-521, MCA, requires the publication of the following summary of significant findings. PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF PENDING ATTACHMENT OF A TAX LIEN On Monday, August 3, 2020, the Lake County Treasurer will attach a property tax lien to property on which the 2019 taxes are delinquent. Outbuilding Public Comment and Review of Environmental Review Record The St. Ignatius School District will hold a public hearing on June, 16, 2020 at 7pm for the purpose of obtaining comments regarding the environmental review record for the proposed outbuilding project that will replace the old building that has been unsuitable for student use for a new building including two elementary classrooms. At the public hearing the proposed project will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, possible sources of funding, any costs that may result for local citizens as a result of the project, and a decision will be made on the environmental assessment. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions regarding the proposed project and any environmental impacts.
