Nicholas George Tomlanovich was born to Nicholas Joseph and Mary Helen Tomlanovich on Oct. 11, 1943 in Rhinelander, Wisc. and raised in Eagle River, Wisc. He married the love of his life, Peggy June Patnaude, on July 27, 1963, making up 57 years of marital bliss.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and his sister, Charlotte Culver. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Tomlanovich of Ronan. He also is survived by his nine children: Patricia Brown, husband Terry and grandchildren Kami, Jessica and Danielle of Washington; Sharon DeWitt, husband Chad and grandchildren Justin, Kayla, Ashley, Kameron and Madisyn of Washington; Roberta Halbert, husband Bill and grandchildren Brooke and Alex of California; George Tomlanovich, wife Carrie and grandchildren Zachary, Megan and Nicole of Montana; Elaine Wise, husband Dan and grandchildren Lia, Ty, Stephano, Olivia, Norah and Natasha of Idaho; Victoria Spears, husband Jason and three grandsons, Joshua, Jordan and Tanner of California; Andrew Tomlanovich, wife Misty, and three grandchildren Tiera, Josh, and Amber of Arkansas; Joel Tomlanovich, wife Kate and two granddaughters Shelby and Chloe of Washington; and his sweet little Katrina at home. He also is survived by sisters Joanne Culver and Evelyn Hunt of Wisconsin and many nieces and nephews. Nick was also blessed with 24 great-grandchildren.

He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was blessed with many spiritual sons and daughters and he loved them all as his own. The love he showed his family and friends stemmed from the love he had for his heavenly father Jehovah, to whom he dedicated his life in 1970, along with his wife Peggy, in Pullman, Wash. Thus, beginning his faithful course of serving his heavenly father Jehovah.

Nick loved God’s beautiful gift of music, not only listening to it but also creating it by his soothing voice and by playing the stringed instruments (mainly guitar).

He loved to hunt and was an avid fisherman and in his elder years tried to redeem himself by feeding the deer and the little critters in the winter. He was a master craftsman. He found great joy in working, always finding a way to provide for his large family.

Nick loved all of God’s creations. His love for his heavenly father Jehovah moved him to talk to others about God and His Kingdom and all the promises soon to be fulfilled. Revelation 21:1-5.
