PUBLIC NOTICE: The Board of Lake County Commissioners will hold a public meeting on Monday, March 8, 2021 for the purpose of taking public comment on the resolution listed below. RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 21-05 WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 7-14-2101, 7-14-2102 and 7-14-2103 of the Montana Code Annotated, a Board of County Commissioners has the authority to manage county roads within the county; and WHEREAS, on February 5, 2021, the Board received a request to abandon a 40 foot platted access between Lot 2, Block 7 and Lot 4, Block 6 of Big Arm Villa Site; and WHEREAS, all affected property owners have given their approval to the abandonment; and WHEREAS, the 40 foot platted access is a dedicated, undeveloped access, surrounded wholly by one owner; within Lake County; WHEREAS, a Board of County Commissioners has the authority to abandon a county road after a public hearing; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, a public hearing has been scheduled for Monday March 8, 2021, at 10:00 am in the Commissioners Chambers located at 106 4th Avenue East, Polson, MT 59860. NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING LAKE COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH & LAKE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS The Lake County Board of Health & Board of Commissioners hereby gives notice that the Lake County Commissioners will review the Emergency Declaration Resolution 20-4, which was originally adopted on March 17, 2020 declaring a State of Emergency in Lake County due to COVID-19. The Resolution remains in effect and public comment will be accepted to assist the Board of Commissioners to determine if the State of Emergency should remain in effect. Following a vote by the Commissioners on the resolution, the Lake County Board of Health will vote to decide if the mask mandate/directive shall remain in effect. The Lake County Board of Health & Board of Commissioners will meet and accept public comment on Resolution 20-4 on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. in the Commissioner Chambers at the Lake County Courthouse located at 106 4th Avenue East, Polson.
