Jeffrey Jacobson

Jeffrey Jacobson passed away Oct. 23, 2022 at Village Health Care In Missoula after losing his eight-year battle with brain cancer. Jeff, the son of Lorin and Shirley Jacobson, was born in Polson Nov. 27, 1962, the youngest of four boys. He attended grade school and high school in Polson, then graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana.

His career path led him to work with the mentally disabled, most notably being 20 years training staff in the area of intellectual disability care programs for the State of Montana at Boulder. Jeff also served in the National Guard for many years.

Jeff was known as the “fun uncle” with his off-the-wall antics and quick wit. There was nothing he liked better than family gatherings and getting together with friends. Jeff also enjoyed his pets, hiking, gardening, rafting, African artwork and restoring old rocking chairs.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Lorin, mother Shirley and brother Bradley. Jeff is survived by his brother, Rod (Karen) of Calgary, Alberta, brother Jim (Margo) of Missoula and sister-in-law Megan of Yakima, Wash., as well as many nieces and nephews.
