Mission Bulldogs lead the pack at Ronan Canal Run

RONAN – A 1-2 finish by Andrew Rush and Robbie Nuila powered the Mission Bulldogs boys’ cross-country team to first place in the Ronan Canal Run on Friday.

Rush won the boys individual title with a time of 16 minutes, 21 seconds, and Robbie Nuila was runner-up in 17 minutes, 18 seconds. The Bulldogs’ Zoran Lafromboise was fourth in 17:36, and teammates Thomas Nuila (6th, 18:18) and Harlon Leishman (13th, 19:23.68) also scored.

The Bulldogs finished with a total 21 team points followed by runner up Corvallis with 47 points.

Event host Ronan High School placed third in both the boys and girls team events. Ronan Maiden Oliva Heiner placed fourth with a time of 21:54.
