Skillicorn, Durglo and Ulutoa winners at ABC Meet

Lake County had three event winners at Polson's Athletic Booster Club (ABC) Invitational Track and Field Meet on Saturday, May 13.

Polson’s Drifter Skillicorn was first in the long jump (21-1.5) and Ronan’s Connor Durglo was first in the triple jump (42-11.5). On the girls' side, Ronan’s Leina Ulutoa was first in the triple jump (35-4.25).

In the 200-meter run, Skillicorn placed fourth (23.59). He also placed third in the 400-meter run (51.63).

Ronan’s Tayen Edmo was sixth in the 800-meter run (2:06.72). Ronan’s Blyth Bolman was sixth in the 110-meter hurdles (17.82). Fellow Chief Noah Rausch was fifth in the 300-meter hurdles (44.12).

Ronan’s 4x100 relay team of Connor Durglo, Wade Qualtier, Kolby Finley, and Gabe Gagnon-Rusnac placed fifth with a time of 44.93. The Chief’s 4x400 team of Qualtier, Durglo, Gagnon-Rusnac and Tayen Edmo was third (3:41.42).

Polson’s Astin Brown was fifth in the shot put (45-6) and teammate Brown was fourth in the discus (134-2.5). Ronan’s Kolby Finley was fifth in the pole vault (11-0)

In addition to Ulutoa’s triumph, Ronan’s Olivia Heiner was second in the 1,600-meter run (5:36.20) and fourth in the 800-meter run (2:31.32). Polson’s Ashtyn Wagner was third in the 1,600-meter run (5:42.39).

Ronan’s Kylie Fetui was fourth in the javelin (104-3) and Polson’s Kellyn Nelson was sixth in the pole vault (9-0).

For the team scores, Polson boys placed eighth with 26 points and Ronan was ninth with 25.5. On the girls' side, the Ronan girls were ninth with 26, and Polson girls were 10th with 7. Eleven teams competed, with top honors going to Hamilton boys and girls.
