Ruth Caparoon, 83

Ruth Caparoon, 83, affectionately known as Ruthie, passed away in the comfort of her home on Nov. 7, 2024. She was born in St. Ignatius to Walter and Frances Cordis on July 14, 1941, and grew up in St. Ignatius. 

In 1978 she married the love of her life, David Caparoon, in Salem, Ore. Ruth and David were married for 48 years. She worked for Northwest Texas Hospital until she retired.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Caparoon, Bobby Cordis, Jeanie Freshour (sister) and Randy Cordis (brother).

She is survived by her children, Tami Reddoch, Jeff Caparoon and Stacy Wireman-Caparoon; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Judy Hewitt.

Services will be held on Dec. 7, 2024, at 2 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness at the top of Polson Hill.
