Patricia Salomon

Patricia Ann (Greene) Salomon, 95, passed away on April 1, 2025, in Polson, surrounded by family and friends.

Patricia was born March 30t, 1930, in Butte to Tom and Nan Ruth Greene. She was raised in Whitehall, where her parents ran the local grocery store.

After high school, Pat attended college prior to moving to Helena where she worked for the legislature.

In 1955, Pat moved to Polson to work at St. Joseph Hospital and to be near her parents. Pat met Leonard Salomon that New Year’s Eve at the Ranch supper club in Polson. They were wed in March of 1956 and remained happily married until Leonard’s passing in August of 2011.

Pat and Leonard started the Twin Peaks Arabian Horse ranch. Later, they welcomed their sons David and Dennis.

Mom greatly enjoyed raising horses and riding them in horse shows. In the 1980s, Pat and Leonard expanded their ranch to include llamas to raise and to show. These shows and conferences enabled the family to travel to many interesting venues throughout the country.

Pat was also an accomplished painter of artwork, mostly of the mountains and horses.

Later in life, Pat enjoyed time with her grandchildren. In more recent years, she treasured her drives throughout the valley with her sons and grandchildren. Pat enjoyed the scenic changes of seasons on her daily outings.

Pat is survived by her sons, David and Dennis, and grandchildren Nic, Dylan, Oli, Andrew, Sam, Cora, Emily and Jane.

The funeral mass took place on Friday, April 4, at 2 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Messages of condolences may be shared with the family online at lakefuneralhomeandcremation.com.
