Hearing slated for proposed Hillside Subdivision
The Lake County Commissioners will host a public meeting on the proposed Hillside Subdivision near St. Ignatius at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at the courthouse in Polson.
The commissioners will hear public comment on a proposed five-lot subdivision of just over 40 acres, located eight miles north of St. Ignatius on the corner of McDonald Lake and Hillside Road. The application seeks a variance for structural setbacks to vegetation buffers along water bodies, as well as a density deviation.
The property is 40 acres all together in an area with a suggested density of 20 acres. The subdivision would create three additional lots (five total) ranging from five acres to just under 14 acres and incorporate a boundary line adjustment.
The application materials for the proposal may be viewed at the Lake County Planning Department in the courthouse, or online. Comments may be made at the hearing or submitted in writing to: Lake County Planning Department at 106 Fourth Avenue East, Polson, Montana, 59860, or by email at planning@lakemt.gov.
