Beverly Schallock
Beverly Ann Schallock, age 74 of Polson, left us peacefully on Dec. 28, 2024, and ran into the arms of Jesus. A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Bev will be remembered for her passionate love for Jesus, dogs, children, people in general and her family.
Bev was born June 4, 1950, in Atlantic City. She grew up one of two daughters of Regis and Rose Koffler. Bev loved her childhood growing up on the beach with her family and closest friend, her sister Elaine (Koffler) Rosen.
One of the best moments of Bev’s life was marrying her best friend, Eric Richard Schallock, on Dec. 27, 1975. This marriage was one of her greatest joys and they celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary the day before Bev’s passing.
This beautiful romance blessed Bev with three sons and five grandchildren. Family dog walks and dinners were a highlight of her days, and she never missed a grandchild’s event.
Bev had a lifelong love of nature, spending most of her time outdoors. She enjoyed passing on her love for gardening, the lake and baking to her grandchildren. Her famous apple pie will carry on for generations.
During her lifetime, Bev taught school for more than 30 years, starting in Hot Springs and then moving to Polson. She was a dedicated teacher and impacted the lives of many students.
Bev was a mentor to many all of her life. She served faithfully at church, volunteered as a tutor after retirement, served on PEO, and was the best Sunday school teacher. She was known as a kind-hearted person with a sweet spirit, who loved Jesus and others well.
Bev is survived by her husband, Eric Schallock and their three sons, Kurt (Jessica) Schallock, Kris (Charity) Schallock and Mike (Christa) Schallock; and her five grandchildren, Addison, Brinley, Carter, Leighton and Emma. Also, by her sister, Elaine (Ed) Rosen, and their son, Dan Rosen.
There will be a celebration of life in June of 2025 with more details to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Mission Church, 36673 Fair Meadow Lane, Polson, to help support youth education.
