CSKT’s Early Childhood Services Baby Fair – 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Joe McDonald Health and Fitness Center on the campus of Salish Kootenai College; the annual fair highlights services, educational opportunities and products geared toward expectant mothers, babies and young children. Ronan Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony – 12:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Ronan Community Center; the celebration begins with Indian tacos, and includes presentation of this year's honorees: Jay and Beth Preston, Dennis Murphy, Terry Camel Brown, Roger Jore, and the 1992 State Champion Maiden Basketball Team. Inductees will also be introduced at 4 p.m. at the Ronan Events Center during a basketball doubleheader against Polson.
Mission Valley Choral Society Practices – 7-9 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 13-May 1 at the First Presbyterian Church in Polson; vocalists rehearse for two spring concerts, May 3-4, under the direction of Cathy Gillhouse, who has selected a varied program of choral music. Housing Meeting – noon Jan. 24 at the Lake County Courthouse Large Conference Room; builders and contractors are encouraged to provide input on housing and construction permitting as part of the county’s efforts to revisit and update its zoning and subdivision regulations.
Cheerful Heart Cancer Support Group – noon-1 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at the Church of the Nazarene in Pablo; church pastor Matthew Connolly leads the group, which welcomes those recently diagnosed or undergoing treatment, cancer survivors, and/or family members.
