Local legislators offer update next Wednesday

Curious about what local legislators have accomplished in Helena? Plan to attend a legislative update next Wednesday, March 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ronan Community Center.

From the Republican side, Sen. Greg Hertz and Representatives Linda Reksten and Tracy Sharp plan to attend. From the Democratic side of the aisle, Sen. Jacinda Morigeau and Representatives Shelly Fyant and Thedis Crowe are expected to participate.

The update comes midway through the session, and follows the transmittal deadline, when bills must be moved from one chamber to the other.   

The forum is sponsored by the Northwest Counties Farm Bureau, in tandem with the Lake County Republican Central Committee, the Lake County Democrats and the Lake County Commissioners.

Buddy Cheff, president of the Northwest Counties Farm Bureau, will moderate the discussion.
