St. Ignatius Seniors: Bingo, audiologist on tap March 8
It looks like winter may be gradually relenting to spring? March is still to come.
• Make sure to include protein in your diet every day to maintain muscle mass.
• Focus on needed nutrients – calcium, vitamin D, and fiber.
• As we age we lose our sense of thirst. Drink water often. Water with lemon/lime or infused with a fruit of your choice makes it easier to consume. Tea is also a good choice, and milk.
Our next bingo date is 2 p.m. March 8; before that, at 1 p.m., an audiologist will be to check hearing aids.
Main dishes served at the center include: chicken Alfredo, March 7; clam chowder and egg-salad sandwiches, March 11; and corned beef and cabbage with potatoes, March 14.
If you would like a take-out meal, please call 406-745-4462 by 10 a.m. on Tuesday and Friday and by 2 p.m. on Wednesdays. Menus for the month are available in the entryway of the center and everyone is welcome (young and old). Come enjoy a delicious meal and good conversation.
Our Senior Center is open to people renting it. If you are interested, please call 406-745-4462 and leave a message. We will call you back with the information you need. If you have questions about obtaining Elder Commodities call or stop by for information and an application.
