Appreciates legislators' support of Medicaid

| March 13, 2025 12:00 AM

I am writing to express my gratitude and appreciation to our local legislators for their unwavering support and leadership in voting for HB 245. This crucial legislation has preserved Montana's current Medicaid program, which is vital to the economic wellness of businesses and the health of our community.

Medicaid provides essential healthcare services to many of our fellow Montanans, ensuring that they have access to the medical care they need. This program not only supports the health and well-being of individuals and families but also contributes to the overall economic stability of our state. By maintaining Medicaid, we are investing in a healthier, more prosperous future for all Montanans.

The passage of HB 245 is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our legislators to the people they serve. Their leadership in this matter has made a significant positive impact on our community, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

The local legislators that supported this important legislation include:

In the Senate: SD 7 – Greg Hertz-R, Polson; SD 8 – Susan Webber-D, Browning; and SD 46 – Jacinda Morigeau-D, Arlee

In the House: HD 13 – Linda Reksten-R, Polson; HD 15 – Thedis Crowe-D, Browning; and HD 91 – Shelley Fyant-D, Arlee

Thank you once again to our local legislators for their continued support and for making the health and economic wellness of our community a top priority.
