Margie loved sports, especially the SF 49ers and SF Giants. One of her favorite events was when she and her son Stephen went to Super Bowl XVI in Michigan, where the 49ers won their first Super Bowl. Another treasured life event was when Margie and her only grandchild Carson went to San Francisco in August 2017 and attended a SF Giants game.

Margie was preceded in death by her infant son, Scott; sister and best friend, Dorothy Hourican; and her parents, James Hill and Olga Tovani Hill. She is survived by her children, Stephanie Brewster, Sharon McDaniel and Stephen Brewster Jr,, and her grandson Carson McDaniel, who was light of her life.
