Vikings running back Garett Vaughan scored on a touchdown reception in the first quarter. Vaughan scored on a 46-yard pass from Landers Smith. Then he proceeded to score on a 10-yard run to give Charlo a 14-0 lead.

Roper Edwards also scored on a 16-yard pass from Smith that made the score 20-0 in favor of Charlo at the conclusion of the first quarter.

Smith scored on two touchdown runs in the second quarter. One was a three-yard touchdown run and the other was from four yards out that allowed Charlo to take a 32-0 lead at halftime.

In the third quarter, Phillip Marquez scored on a 46-yard pass from Smith, and then Smith concluded the scoring for the Vikings with a 40-yard run.

Bulldogs topple Seeley-Swan The Mission High School football team defeated Seeley-Swan 38-24 with a homecoming victory Friday night at St. Ignatius.

With the win, the Bulldogs (3-2) have put themselves in the mix of contending for the state playoffs.

The Bulldogs are now log-jammed in the conference race. Currently, Flint Creek is on top of the standings, with Charlo in second and Arlee in third. The Bulldogs are still vying for a fourth playoff spot from the conference, and if they continue to win, they’ll continue to put themselves in position to clinch a Class C 8-man playoff slot.

The Bulldogs hope to continue to remain victorious against Plains. Mission hosts Plains Friday night at 7 at Mission High School.
