The Lake County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday that officers have arrested a suspect in the alleged homicide of Ronan resident Ed Loder. The 70-year-old suspect, James Lawrence of Polson, is being held at the Lake County Jail on charges of homicide and tampering with evidence.

Lela Marlene Barrick Orr was born Jan. 8, 1924, to Troy R. and Edna Pearl Barrick in Butler, Okla. A Celebration of Life will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, at Ignite Wesleyan Church in Sheridan. Later this fall a burial service will be at Murray Memorial Cemetery in Lone Pine, where she will be buried alongside her husband.

On Aug. 9, 2024, Dusty Ann Fratzke, 43, of Kalispell, passed away. On Dec. 17, 1980, Dusty was the fourth and last child born to Scott Fratzke and Edna Brotherton in Sanders County.
