Peggy Sue Shaul
POLSON - Peggy Sue Shaul, 64, of Polson died of natural causes at her home on Aug. 6, 2004.
Peggy was born on July 21, 1940, in Reno, Nevada, to Arion and Lucille Spark. She grew up in Sparks, Nevada, and graduated from Sparks High School in 1958. She married Larry Ball in 1958 and they had four children together. They divorced in 1973.
She lived in the Reno area and worked at Harrah's Casino in the purchasing department.
She married Frank "Bud" Shaul in 1978 and they later divorced.
Peggy moved to Polson, in 1979. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital for two years. She moved back to Reno in 1981 and worked at various customer service jobs. She eventually moved back to Polson in 1995.
Peggy enjoyed playing cards, going to lunch after church, stamping and card making, handwork and working on the computer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Spark, grandmother Alice Smith (who lived to be 104 1/2 years old).
She is survived by four children, Michael Ball and wife Anita of San Diego, Gary Ball and wife Corie of Gardnerville, Nevada, Lorie Allred and husband Dan of Polson, Steve Ball and wife Laurie of Sumner, Wash.; grandchildren, Spring Kopp, April Ball, Arion Ball, Zachery Ball, Austin Ball, Codi Ball, Sam Allred and his wife Sarah, Jacob Allred, Josh Allred, Caleb Allred, twins Aaron and Leah Ball, and three great-grandchildren, Taylor and Aiden Kopp and Aislinn Pristine Allred.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Polson, with the Revs. Miles Finch and Shawn Madsen of New Life Christian Center officiating.
Cremation and arrangements are by Grogan Funeral Home & Crematory, Polson.
