Sandra I. Molzhon

RONAN - Sandra I. Molzhon, 60, of Ronan died of complications of Muscular Dystrophy on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at Westside Care Center.

Sandy was born May 15, 1944, in Aitkin, Minn., the daughter of Jerry and Clara Larson. She moved to Ronan in 1959 with her grandmother, Nell Larson. Sandy graduated from Ronan High School in 1962.

She and her grandmother owned and operated the Park and Eat Cafe.

She met George Molzhon in high school and they were married in 1963.

Surviving are five children: Scott, Tracy, Lorrinda, Joshua and Jolene; four grandchildren, Bradley, Zon, Jesse and Tabin; two brothers, and two sisters.

Sandy loved to sew, quilt, do crafts, fish, play Bingo and visit with older people. She was active in the Senior Center. Sandy had worked for Lindburg Drug, Nord's Laundry and had cooked for the Forest Service.

She had resided at Westside Care Center for the past eight years.

Memorial services were held Aug. 11 at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in Ronan.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Multiple Dystrophy Association.

Shrider's Mortuary of Ronan assisted the family with arrangements.
