Dorothy Mae Long Angwin

MISSOULA - Dorothy Mae Long Angwin, 82, our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend died on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at the Village Health Care Center.

Dorothy was born Nov. 12, 1921, in Minneapolis to Emmet T. Long and Mary Marjorie (Raine) Long.

On April 22, 1948, she married Keith Angwin in Fort Lewis, Wash. Together they had three children.

Dorothy's greatest love was her family. She was very active in her community; a strong Republican and true advocate for the unborn. She was an active volunteer for many organizations while her children were growing up, continuing to be active in her church, neighborhood, sorority, local, state and national politics.

She is survived by her son John Angwin; daughters Yvonne (Peg) M. Wheeler and husband Bill Wheeler Jr., Mary M. Olson and husband Olie; 10 grandchildren, Keith, Michael and Catherine Angwin; Rachel and Terry Mederios; William and Clara, Chris and Belinda and Sean Wheeler; Bobbie, Jessie and little Olie Olson; and great-grandchildren, Trevor Ray Mederios and Kadee May Wheeler.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Keith, her parents, her sister, Mary Jane Werges, and brothers, Jack and Bob Lang.

Thank you mom, for the loving care and memories.

Mass was celebrated Saturday, Aug. 21, St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial was in Fort Missoula Cemetery.
