Isabella Winona Skalicky
POLSON - Isabella Winona Skalicky, 80, of Powers Lake, N.D., died of natural causes on Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at her daughter's home in Polson. She was born Jan. 9, 1924, in Powers Lake to Carl and Mazy Weinmann. On Nov. 16, 1945, she married Rudolph Skalicky in Plentywood.
She worked alongside her husband on their farm North of Powers Lake, where she raised four children. Isabella belonged to the Senior Citizens and the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Power Lake. She was a good cook and enjoyed growing her flowers, for which she had a green thumb, and she enjoyed working in their large garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.
She is survived by her daughter Donna (Gordon) Terry of Polson; three sons Lloyd (Jean) of Powers Lake, Marvin (Jeanette) of Ross, N.D., and Billy (Jean) of Minot, N.D.; two sisters Laura (Kenny) Hegstad of Sandpoint, Idaho, Helen Beard of Powers Lake; two brothers, Phillip (Lottie) Weinmann and Earl (Shirley) Weinmann of Powers Lake; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Powers Lake with interment at the Baptist Cemetery on Powers Lake. Grogan Funeral Home handled the Polson arrangements.
