Brook Anna Thomas
POLSON - Our precious angel, Brook Anna Thomas, 23, went to dance with Jesus on July 2, 2004, following an automobile accident near Plains.
She was born on Jan. 21, 1981, in Gillette, Wyo., to Calvin and Tana (Mindt) Sorenson. She later attended Polson High School where she met and married her high school sweetheart and best friend, Tom Thomas on June 12, 1999.
Together they had a baby boy, Trenton, the light of their lives. Brook dedicated her whole self to loving, nurturing and teaching Trenton. She adored him, like only a wonderful mother could.
Brook touched the lives of many during her short time on this earth. Those who knew her well will remember her passions for art and creativity. She loved to both draw and design.
Brook's life message was simple yet profound to those having ears to hear: Don't put God in a box, and don't put each other in a box. Celebrate each other's uniqueness and love one another with Truth and Grace. Many are your designs left on paper, but forever are your designs on our hearts. We love and miss you.
Brooke is survived by her much loved husband, Tom Thomas and her ever precious son, Trenton of Thompson Falls; her mother, Tana Mindt of Polson; her father, Calvin Sorenson of Powell, Wyo.; her brother, Matthew Sorenson of Polson; her mother-in-law, Dianna Thomas, her father-in-law, John Thomas of Thompson Falls; grandparents Del and Anna Mindt of Polson; great-grandmother Ella Sterhan of Sidney; Uncle Monte and Aunt Tanya Mindt; Grandpa John and Grandma Faye Oberlitner of Polson; Uncle Ron and Aunt Patti Gohl, Uncle Brian and Aunt Nora Templer; Uncle Perry and Aunt Sandy Sorenson of Hayward, Calif., and Aunt Christine Morken of Missoula; and her beloved cousins, Brandon Templer, Amos Templer, Hannah Templer, Boston Ranney, Rilee Mindt, Haley Mindt and Camden Templer.
A memorial service was held July 6 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, in Polson.
