Jess (Jack) Arden Miller

POLSON - Jess (Jack) Arden Miller, 74, of Polson, died of natural causes on Thursday, July 1, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital in Polson.

He was born in Murray, Utah, on April 13, 1930, to Jess F. and Lucy (Buck) Miller. He moved to Polson with his family in 1959. He enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting. A welder by trade, he worked for Dupuis Lumber Company for nine years.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Lucy Miller; his wife Mary of Polson, and former wife, Valine Shannon of Kooskia, Idaho; and a brother, Frank Webb of Crystal Mountain, Wash.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Carrie Miller, son and daughter-in-law Roger and Jeanne Miller; daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Gary Ervin; grandchildren Jack Miller, Jessica Jackson, Brendon and Aaron McKay, and Kala and Rochelle Miller, and numerous great-grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time and cremation has taken place. Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Grogan Funeral Home, Polson.
