Editor,
The Mission Valley Food Pantry in St. Ignatius thanks the Catholic Diocese of Helena for the generous donation of $1,500, which contributes to "the aid to the needy program."
Last year, pantry volunteers distributed more than 19,000 pounds of food to over 580 individuals.
This is an increase from the previous year.
Volunteers worked more than 500 hours to serve our community.
If you would like to be a volunteer, stop by the pantry on Tuesday or Thursday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. or call Bill Riddle at 745-0057.
Just four hours per month can make a big difference.
