Good Old Days includes hoops tourney
ST. IGNATIUS - Basketball players are invited to join in the action at Good Old Days in St. Ignatius on July 24.
Six men's/boys' divisions and six women's/girls' divisions will provide competition for third-graders up to adults. Sign-up and registration will be held at the Malt Shop from 7 to 9 p.m. Cost is $50 per team.
The action begins on Blaine Street in front of the Malt Shop at 9 a.m. on July 24.

Junior Golf tourney begins
POLSON - The 2004 Polson Country Club Junior Golf tournament series starts today (July 15) at 2 p.m. and continues each Thursday through Aug. 19 on the country club's Old Nine.
The tournament is open to all juniors between 6 and 14 years of age. Sign up by 1:30 p.m. Parents are encouraged to walk along as markers for the groups.

Pioneer Days 3-on-3 tourney Aug. 7-8
RONAN - The 8th annual Pioneer Days 3-on-3 Jamboree Basketball Tournament, sponsored by KQRK Radio, K-O Auto, and St. Luke Community Health Care, will be held on 2nd Avenue in Ronan Aug. 7 and 8.
Thirteen divisions are offered, including third grade through adult. Special events include 6-, 8- and 9-foot dunk contests, plus three-point and free throw contests held on Western Building Center/Woody's center court.

Jane Fillner gets hole-in-one
RONAN - Jane Fillner, 74, scored a hole-in-one on the Mission Mountain Country Club's No. 8 hole. She used an 8-iron to sink the 106-yard ace.
Pirates invited to football camp
POLSON - Young Pirate football players are invited to the Polson Pirate Skills Camp, to be held July 19-21 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
All interested players who will be in the fourth-eighth grades for the 2004-2005 school year may register on Monday, July 19, at noon. Cost for the camp is $25.
The Pirate Football Camp for grades 9-12 during the 2004-2005 school year is July 19-22 from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration for the high school camp will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday, July 19. Cost is $50.
