William 'Tav' McIntosh Armstrong

POLSON - William "Tav" McIntosh Armstrong, 54, of Polson died at his home on Thursday July 8, 2004.

William was born Oct. 31, 1949, in Huntington, N.Y., to W.W. and Jean Armstrong.

He grew up in Long Island, N.Y. and the Oyster Bay area.

He attended schools in New York and Connecticut and attended Rockford College in Illinois.

He married Rose and they had one son together. He and Rose later divorced.

He was a framer in Oyster Bay for several years.

He eventually moved out west to Seattle to continue with his framing.

He lived in several places in Washington and eventually moved to Polson, a few years ago.

Tav was an accomplished archer.

He is survived by his parents of Tupper Lake, N.Y.; two brothers, James and Duncan of New York, and two sisters, Lynn Wunsch of California and Jean Yeager of Winnipeg, Can.

No services are planned and cremation has taken place.

Arrangements were by Grogan Funeral Home & Crematory of Polson.
