SD 30 kitchen staff was appreciated

Ronan/Pablo After School would like to recognize the School District 30 Kitchen staff. Not only did the kitchen staff provide healthy snacks throughout the school year for our After School program but they also provided free and nutritious breakfasts and lunches during the summer. Their program targeted summer school participants but was also available for all youth under the age of 18 in the community.

Marsha Wartick, Jackie Colyer, Judy Jackson and Charlie Cote every day had a smile and a kind word for the students. We realize that our program wouldn't be as successful if it wasn't for their efforts.

Their mission statement proclaims "SD 30 kitchen staff think food because kids can't think without it" and it's partly because of their efforts that our students succeed.

We thank you for all your hard work to ensure that our youth do not go hungry.
