RONAN - Ronan Activity Center director Gale Decker announced this week that the Western Montana College basketball team has been challenged by a group of former college basketball players to a pre-season scrimmage Thursday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Ronan Activity Center at the Ronan Middle School.

The former college basketball players call themselves the Montana All-Stars. Matt Luedtke, the former Ronan High School standout, will have a chance to see him play on the home court once again. Matt is now attending Western Montana College and will be playing Oct. 16.

The Ronan Booster Club will assist by providing people to take tickets, operate the time clock, keep score, operate the concession stand and other chores as needed.

Decker said, "This promises to be a fast paced game with high scoring. If you have never attended a college basketball game, now is your chance. Everyone is encouraged to come out and help kick off the basketball season."
