| October 7, 2004 12:00 AM

POLSON - The Polson Pirates kept their undefeated season record intact at Libby Sept. 24, but the Loggers made them work for it.

Libby jumped off to a 13-0 half time lead thanks to a one-yard plunge from Graham and a 44-yard scamper by Kyle Baker.

But the Pirates came back in the second half scoring seven points in the third and four periods. The first TD came when Andy Nelson went over from the three-yard line after a sustained drive from midfield. The PAT was successful.

In the fourth quarter, a 43-yard pass play from Joe Locke to Colton Woods set the stage for Polson's final score. With about two-and-a-half minutes remaining the in the game, Nelson scored from the one yard line. The PAT was successful again and proved to be the winning margin.
