Doris M. Anderson

RONAN - Doris M. Anderson, 81, died Aug. 19, 2004, at the St. Luke Nursing Home in Ronan.

She was born Sept. 3, 1922, to William A. and Esther H. Olson in Olivia, Minn.

In April 1941, she married Evert Anderson. They lived in Gonvik, Minn., where they were in the school bus transportation business until 1978. At that time the family moved to Polson where she and her husband drove bus for the Polson School District until their retirement.

Doris enjoyed needlework and, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, found great pleasure in sharing her Bible-based hope for the future with others in the community.

Her husband, Evert, died on June 5, 1998.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara of Polson; a brother, Russell Olson of Harris, Minn.; a brother-in-law, Arnold Anderson and wife Sally of Boring, Ore., and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Polson with Henry Feistner officiating.

Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Shrider's Mortuary of Ronan.
