Eugene John (Gene) Schmidt

RONAN - Eugene John (Gene) Schmidt, 73, joyously entered into the kingdom of heaven on Aug. 23, 2004, to join his baby boy Larry, brother Les, sister Lorraine, granddaughters Holly and Candy, and grandsons Frank and Joey.

The family that waits to join them is his precious wife of 53 years, Patricia (Matt); his son, Charles and Laurie; daughter Cynthia and Fred; daughter Lugene and Oscar Perry; son John and Kathy; son Daniel; daughter Denise and Allan Benninger; daughter Heidi and Carl Sotomish; son Timothy; daughter Terri and Larry Ertz; son James and Bridget, and last but not least, daughter and son Gail and Larry James, daughter Dee-Andra; his 42 grandchildren including Joe, Adam, Patrick, John-John, Lacy, Melanie, Nathan (Cowboy) and Steven; his 56 great-grandchildren; his brothers Donald and Dorothy of Great Falls and Duane Luther of Spokane, and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved so very much.

There are also many more family, friends and loved ones who were very special to him and our family.

Services were held Aug. 28 at the First Christian Church of St. Ignatius. Officiating was Pastor Bob Jorgensen of the Loon Lake Christian Fellowship.
