MV rodeo team does well at Whitehall HS Rodeo

The Mission Valley High School Rodeo team placed well at the Whitehall High School rodeo September 11-12th. Members competing included: Brittnee Benson, Levi Guenzler, Sarah Guenzler, Brett Harris, Katelyn Lowder, Cameron Lytle, Jessica Milliron, Krista O'Reilly, Jessica Picchietti, and Lynnsey Wieder.

A total of four awards were brought back to the valley. Brittnee Benson, a Ronan senior won the Breakaway Roping average on two consistent runs totaling 7.68. Jessica Picchietti, an Arlee sophomore won the Pole Bending average with two solid runs totaling 42.81. The Girls average winners were awarded a Frontier Trophy bracelet and the boys received Frontier Trophy pocket knives.

Levi Guenzler, a Ronan sophomore won the boys all-around buckle, placing in every event both days with a total of 36 points. Sarah Guenzler, a Ronan senior won the girls all-around buckle, by placing high in her five events with a total of 59 points.
