Museum's potato bash was successful
Editor,
Thank gosh it's over (our baked potato salad bar dinner) served at Ronan Senior Citizen Center, a benefit for Mission Valley Heritage Museum.
It was a lot of work for all to get the help, food, and silent auction gifts.
Round Butte and Ronan Woman's Club donated salads. The Sew & Sew Club and North Crow Woman's Club donated cakes, Mission Market and Harvest Foods donated also. The Leroy Lakes are our potato people (all cleaned and ready to bake). White's Meats and Frank's Meats donated meat for stroganoff.
The Chamber of Commerce list of businesses helped us collect for the silentauction, worked by Cal Lindburg, Ed Bratton, and Angie Read.
Thanks for your very generous donations. Our museum members, what great workers! Several non-members came and, boy, did they work.
We thank all those who helped make it a success. Thanks, the Senior Center was a great place to have it.
Angie Read,
Ronan
P.S. Angie thanks her five children, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren for the great birthday party. Thanks, friends.
