Gregory E. Hammett

RONAN — Gregory E. Hammett, 18, of Ronan died Sunday, April 10, 2005, in St. Patrick Hospital, Missoula, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.

Greg was born Sept. 16, 1986, in Greenbrae, Calif. He moved to Oakley, Idaho, and to Kalispell in 1998. He moved to Ronan in 2000 and attended Ronan High School.

He had worked for Woody's for two years and at the time of his death worked for McDonald's. Greg enjoyed stereos, trucks, being with his friends and reading.

Greg is survived by his parents Warren and Jenny Barker of Ronan, his father Gregory of California; sister Crystal Hammett of Charlo; brother Louie Hammett of Novato, Calif; his grandparents, Jim and Bobbie Willyard of Ronan, Barbara and Marvin Saunders of Cheshire, Ore., Alice and Ted Barker of Kalispell; and nephew Dillon Barker of Ronan.

Greg will be missed by his Mom, family and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 18, at the Church of The Nazarene in Pablo at 1:30 p.m.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Lake County and the Flathead Reservation.

Shrider's Mortuary of Ronan is assisting the family with arrangements.
