POLSON — Jerry Burland, 51, of Uniontown, Wash., left us on Thursday April 7, 2005, to be with his mother Betty Stinger-Smith, his father Willard Burland, and his brother Jim Burland.

He was a loving husband, father, brother and son, always smiling and helping others.

Jerry leaves us with lots of love and smiles.

He loved all of his children and will be remembered by his loving and radiant smile, his joy of living, and his words of wisdom to all of us.

Jerry, God has not only given you your legs back, but has now given you wings.

We all love you and will carry you in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver, Elizabeth Ann Moon-Burland of Uniontown; his son, Wayne White of South Carolina; his stepfather, Gary E. Smith of Pomeroy, Wash.; his brothers, Richard Burland of Cheney, Wash., and Elmer Burland of Spokane; his sisters, Patsy Pulse of Polson and Yuette Smiley of Great Falls.

No public services are planned. A public reception will be held Saturday, April 16, 1 p.m. at the Flathead Senior Citizen Center of Polson.

Arrangements are by Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory of Polson.
