Arbor Day was a great success

The City of Polson Tree Board's annual Arbor Day Shopping Bag Coloring Contest was a great success with the participation of 594 students from Cherry Valley and Linderman schools.

We extend a special thank you to Al Suneson, chairman of the Tree Board, for organizing the contest and taking care of all the necessary details that made this contest such a success. Thanks also to all the helpers during the process.

Businesses that generously contributed assorted prizes for the 594 children who participated were Moody's Super 1 Foods, Stageline Pizza, Polson Theaters, Mission Valley Power, Wal-Mart, Sportspage Bowl, Kentucky Fried Chicken/A & W, Mission Mountain Natural Foods, McDonald's, Top 40 Video, Steve's Video, and Gull Printing.
